Antique Bluthner Restoration

This wonderful instrument made by the Rolls Royce of piano builders dates from 1891! It is constructed within a very beautiful and elaborate case, comprising of an array of specialist veneers.

Its mechanism was in very poor and dry condition, which could not be saved, so we fitted a brand new mechanism, to give the playing performance of this lovely piano, many decades of music making ahead.

This piano also has a fascinating history from the previous owner, which will be passed onto the new custodians when it's sold.
